According to Wikipedia, the population of Bulnes is only 34, but during our winter visit, we encountered just one local, accompanied by his two dogs, alongside some chickens and cows. Apart from a small group of tourists, the village was incredibly quiet. One of the most memorable aspects of visiting Bulnes in winter is the chance to completely disconnect from the outside world and fully immerse yourself in the breathtaking natural surroundings of the Picos de Europa mountains.
